Abstract
Over a four-year period, 33 patients have been considered for undiversion. Twenty-one were reconstructed, six of whom were in end-stage renal failure and responding poorly to dialysis. All but one were originally diverted because of obstructive-type neuropathic bladders, and four of these were undiverted by substitution cystoplasty. One patient died before transplantation, and the other five have remained well continent, and with normal renal function.
