Unilateral hydrocephalus caused by an intraventricular venous malformation obstructing the foramen of Monro

Abstract

Unilateral hydrocephalus in an adult was caused by obstruction of the left foramen of Monro by an intraventricular venous malformation. Magnetic resonance imaging of the region of the of Monro demonstrated the lesion, which subsequently was confirmed to be a venous malformation by angiography and surgery.
