Selective malabsorption of vitamin B12 in a Negro boy

Abstract

A case of selective vitamin B12 malabsorption is described in an 8 year old Negro boy. The importance of considering vitamin B12 as a possible cause of megaloblastic anaemia amongst malnourished children is stressed.
