Scalp psoriasis: Clinical features and assessment

Abstract

Many patients with psoriasis have scalp lesions as well. Progressive disease may lead to worsening quality of life. Specifi c clinical features of scalp psoriasis may help differentiate it from other dermatological diseases, such as seborrheic dermatitis. Several clinical assessment tools have been developed to help dermatologist ascertain severity of scalp disease.
