The results of thirty total cystectomys are presented. Stage 'D' tumors had a 100% mortality within a year. Patients over 70 yr do poorly, having a 60% post operative mortality. Already 50% of patients with 'AB' stage tumors have a 3 yr survival and 28.5% have a 5 yr survival, however, patients in the 'AB' stage who are under 70 yr of age have a 70% survival rate and a 40% 5 yr survival rate.
