Abstract
Ocular laser injury may result from various types of lasers in industrial, laboratory, or commercial settings, but children are particularly susceptible to injury from recreational lasers. This chapter review the clinical and optical coherence tomography (OCT) features of laser injury and ancillary image findings in children. An example of a young boy who suffered macular damage from a blue recreational laser is presented. Treatment options for retinal laser injury are reviewed.
