Abstract
Methods for reconstruction of the lower urinary tract continue to evolve. Many techniques that make use of bowel segments are available, including innovative methods of providing a continence mechanism and preventing reflux. These techniques have generated specific complications, which have further stimulated a search for better procedures or new reconstructive materials.
