Abstract
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is best done in purpose-designed rooms. While dominated by the X-ray equipment, ERCP rooms should have space designated for the functions of all of the involved professionals (endoscopists, anesthesia, radiology, trainees, and staff) and for the storage and display of all necessary equipment, here described in outline. Care should be given to staff and patient protection.
