Abstract

Power measurements of J = 1-2 in saturated neon like yttrium x-ray laser are reported. This proves it to be one of the brightest XUV sources. THis system is suitable candidate for future nonlinear optics experiments with its high brightness and 15.5 nm wavelength. Possibility of third harmonic generation is indicated.
