Abstract
A case report of a 77-year-old woman with gallbladder perforation is presented. Perihepatic abscess formation was detected on radionuclide cholescintigraphy and abdominal ultrasonography. A perihepatic 'halo' with nonvisualization of the gallbladder on radionuclide cholescintigraphy should suggest the diagnosis preoperatively.
