Since 1976 we have performed selective bronchial angiography and intraarterial infusion of cytostatic drugs in more than 75 patients with primary bronchogenic carcinoma. Our technique and preliminary results were reported in 1978. Recently we encountered a patient with a left-side bronchial artery arising together with a left-side intercostal trunk. To our knowledge this is the first convincing observation of this anomaly, the existence of which has been denied.
