Abstract
Carpal coalitions rarely involve the scaphoid and trapezium, and all of the reported cases have been associated with other carpal or tarsal coalitions of congenital syndromes. The case that we are reporting is unique; our patient had an isolated scaphoid-trapezium synchondrosis.
