Imaging intact tissue microstructures using a multimodal,high-resolution microscope

Abstract

We describe a custom microscope which utilizes autofluorescence and light scattering to interrogate whole tissue specimens. Preliminary studies using human and animal tissuesdemonstrate the feasibility of this approach for real-time imaging of tissue microstructures.
