Abstract

In this issue of Structure, Cai et al. (2020) describe crystal structures of the postsynaptic protein Shank3, a homolog of cortactin binding protein 1 (CBP1), in complex with small G proteins Rap1 and H-Ras. Functional studies suggest that binding of Ras and Rap to Shank3 is modulated by synaptic plasticity. In this issue of Structure, Cai et al.
