Abstract
Fiberoptic esophagogastroduodenoscopy was performed on 112 patients with various upper gastrointestinal problems. Photography and biopsy facilities were extensively used. Examination of the duodenal bulb and second part of the duodenum was successfully performed in 88% of attempts. There were no complications and no mortality from the procedure.
