Abstract

In describing the “modified bogus pipeline” methodology used to deter misreporting of participants' use of professional dental care, we stated that participants were asked to be prepared to provide their dental providers' contact information, but that this information was not actually collected. Instead, we should have said that this information was collected, but we did not actually contact providers to verify treatment use. We regret any confusion caused by this error.
