This chapter discusses conditions affecting the carpal region (i.e. any of the structures affecting the carpal joint and surrounding area). A brief discussion of the clinically relevant local anatomy is followed by a detailed description of the history, physical examination, and diagnostic findings typically found in patients presenting with pathology of this region.
