Abstract

Cellular therapy is the medicine of the future. A new era is being rapidly ushered in, where the medical community may become less dependent upon the use of certain drugs for specific therapies, and more dependent upon prescribing and confidently using cellular therapy applications to enhance engraftment of transplanted hematopoietic stem cells, reduce the severity of GvHD, immunize against specific malignancies, and even to repair chronically or acutely damaged tissues and organs.
