Abstract

An 89-year-old woman developed an acute carpal tunnel syndrome seondary to hemarthrosis associated with pigmented villonodular synovitis of the wrist. Pigmented villonodular synovitis is rare in a patient of this age and is an unusual cause of carpal tunnel syndrome.
